he Rio Grande City Economic Development Corp. (RGCEDC) was established by a vote of the residents of Rio Grande City in 1994 as a not-for-profit organization chartered by the State of Texas. It receives public funds. As such, certain information available to the general public and subject to requests for information under the Texas Open Records Act and the Texas Open Meetings Act, proprietary information, trade secrets and other data from business prospects is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed.
The RGC EDC Board of Directors holds its regular meetings on the first Tuesday of every month. Special meetings may be called at the discretion of the RGCEDC President, Mayor or other designated officials. Board meeting agendas are posted at the Rio Grande City Hall, 101 South Washington Street, Rio Grande City.
